Search Your Team's Activity by Case Id, App Name, URL Pattern, and More


Our new search allows you to find any video or call log from your team by case id, app name, URL pattern, and any of the other data the Fin Plugin automatically labels based on your team's browsing activity.


One of the design principles for Fin Analytics is ‘just log it all.’ From an agent perspective, it is a total distraction to have to remember to manually turn on and off features like screen recording or resource logging. In addition to removing cognitive overhead for agents, the always-on approach means that every process and product bug gets captured by default – so there’s never a need to waste time typing out a bug report in prose or trying to ‘repro’ the bug for the engineering team.

But 40 hours per week of data for every person on your team is not usable by itself – no manager or team has time to sift through all of this manually.

The beauty of Fin Analytics is the automatic labeling and indexing of all of your activity, call, and video recording logs with data extracted from the browser.

We just added the following attributes to our new advanced search page: Page Title, Page URL, Case Id, Service Name, User, Customer Id, Timestamp, and Page Visit Duration.

This means you can now do searches for things like:

  • Shopify refund #1234567
  • Zendesk tickets that took > 20 minutes to handle
  • Every visit to a new video you added to your corpus of training materials (and the time spent viewing)
  • Visits to Slack channels this week by Jamie that lasted > 10 minutes
  • Visits to an internal queue for internal processes like refunds and exchanges
  • Time spent on each distinct refund processed with an admin tool
  • All work performed by Jenny and Andrew between 8am and 9am on Mon morning

This update gives you direct access to all of the automatic, out-of-the box labeling you get with Fin Analytics, as well as all of the additional data you label with our Custom Workflows engine.
