Fin Analytics named in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for the Digital Workplace, 2020

Gartner named Fin Analytics as one of the Sample Vendors in their Hype Cycle for the Digital Workplace, 2020

We were excited to see that Gartner, the world’s leading research and advisory company, just added a new technology to their Hype Cycle for the Digital Workplace, 2020 called Employee Productivity Monitoring and named Fin as one of the Sample Vendors.

As the research on outlines it, “employee productivity monitoring technologies use automated data collection and analytics to report on employees’ activities, time spent, work locations and work patterns with a view to measuring and improving workforce productivity.” Gartner has positioned this technology in the Innovation Trigger phase, having a market penetration of 1-5% of its target audience and will reach the Plateau of Productivity phase within the next 5-10 years.

For a long time, it has been clear to us and to our customers that deeper insight into employee productivity can lead to major improvements in efficiency and quality of work, while dramatically improving work culture and employee satisfaction.

We like how Gartner expresses this, “when used to identify and alleviate the challenges that remote workers face, these technologies can improve both the employee experience and business outcomes. Insights derived from employee productivity monitoring technologies can help leaders make changes at the organization, team or individual employee level to improve overall productivity.”

We are excited to see the space we have been working in, and the tools we provide, begin to move into more and more of the mainstream consciousness of high-quality tech forward companies.
