Our Favorite Requests of the Week
"Last year I stayed in a hacker house with 5 to 8 people and the landlord ran off with the our deposit at the end of the year. Can you figure out a rough budget for taking him to court and tell me how we should go about it?"
→ Fin considers all the information available and uses judgement to help you avoid making costly mistakes.
"Fin, please RSVP me, add to my calendar, and email Kate to see if she'd be interested in joining me. Thanks!"
→ Fin handles all the details for your big night out.
"Can you give my cell phone a call right now? I need to have my phone ring."
→ Fin can be your exit strategy.
"Fin, I’d like you to remember a standardized pizza order for every time I say “send pizza”. It should be from Goathill Pizza, XL cheese with sourdough crust and it should arrive with parmesan, chili and ranch sides. Use my Visa and always tip $5. Send pizza!"
→ Once Fin learns exactly how you like your food order, it remembers for every future request.
Cool Things Fin Learned About
Bike Index is a bike registry that gives everyone the ability to register and recover bicycles for free. Ask Fin to register your bike today. (One of our co-founders got back a stolen bike through bike index last week!)
A local Oakland restaurant owner and beverage director, Jenny Schwarz, teamed up with Irish-born chef Jackie Gallanagh to open Sláinte on April 8th in Jack London Square. If traditional Irish food and organic céili/session style music is your thing, you won’t want to miss it.
The creator of PowerEgg began taking orders for their new product, the PowerRay, an underwater drone for home use. It operates at a depth of 30 meters for up to four hours at a time. It’s not available in the U.S. yet, but let Fin know if you’d like to stay updated.
