What is Business Process Outsourcing(BPO) Definition?

Business process outsourcing is the outsourcing of  IT-intensive business processes to an external company often to save time and recourses. Business process outsourcing is the contracting of a business’s operational tasks to another organization. Business process outsourcing is a service that has been around for decades, but it has only recently become popular in the United States. This type of outsourcing is usually done for cost-cutting reasons, but it can also be done to work around an organization's lack of expertise in a particular field. Business process outsourcing is a global phenomenon. It is a business strategy in which companies engage outside service providers to perform certain business processes and functions on their behalf.
